Ashwater House is a family business which has been running since 1990.  Our high percentage of repeat customers and recommendations shows us that our aims continue to be met.

We have made a lot of of improvements over the last couple of years, with the addition of Ashpot Cottage, a new children's play area, and a programme of replacements and redecoration.  We have recently changed all the sofas and chairs for leather, being more luxurious and easier to keep clean.  Now Robin's Rest joins the accommodation sleeping a family of six in three bedrooms.  We have also increased the available parking for both the cabins and Ashpot Cottage, and included a laundry which houses our DVD collection so all our guests have a wider choice of films to watch.

We are an environmentally friendly business with recycling facilities for every unit,  guests are encouraged to wash and squash and sort their rubbish into glass, paper, or plastic and cans.  We then ensure the recyclable materials are taken to the appropriate facility. 

Our gardens and lake are a haven for local wildlife, with water voles, kingfishers, foxes, rabbits (not often together!), pheasants and a large variety of birds and butterflies.  We have areas set aside for nettles and wild grasses to encourage wildlife, and long hedgerows.
